The Tulane University Police Department is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
In an effort to help us engage with our community CALEA has provided a public portal which allows individuals to comment on our compliance with CALEA standards, our community engagement, our delivery of public safety services, and overall suitability for CALEA accreditation.
Comments may be in the form of commendations or concerns. The overall intent of the process is to provide us with information to support continuous improvement and foster the pursuit of professional excellence.

IMPORTANT: CALEA is not an investigatory body and subsequently the public portal should not be used to submit information for such purposes. Additionally, there will be no response other than acknowledgement of submissions; however, the information will be considered in context to its relevancy to compliance with standards and the tenets of CALEA accreditation.
