What is Crime Prevention? Crime Prevention is defined as the anticipation, recognition, and appraisal of a crime risk, and the initiation of some action to remove or reduce it.

The Tulane University Police Department (TUPD) is dedicated to ensuring the public's safety and fighting crime. As a partner in this effort, we urge you to make crime prevention a part of your daily routine.
